Can this laptop use DDR3 Ram?

I’ve owned this laptop for about a year, i was wondering if it can use DDR3 Ram? At the moment it has DDR2 2GB and it can hold upto 8GB but i was wondering if i can swap it to DDR3 and about 4GB ram.
You can not use DDR3 in your laptop. DDR2 and DDR3 are not interchangeable. If you are looking to increase your Ram each memory slot can hold DDR2 PC2-6400 with a maximum of 4GB per slot. You can get a 4GB kit or an 8GB kit. If your operating system is 32-bit go with the 4 GB kit. A 32-bit system can only utilize 4GB of Ram. If you are running a 64-bit system 4GB is more than enough, but you can go with the 8GB kit if desired. You can get the 4GB kit for 49.99 and the 8GB kit is 179.99. One other user posted the link to Hp’s website for your system. This model shipped with an Intel processor or an AMD processor.
Your system is an Intel system, which only supports DDR2. The AMD system uses DDR3. Once again DDR3 will not work in your sytem.
