How to i do this for college?

So i am going to college in a month and am going to get a bike to ride to and from campus. The problem is that I will have a laptop (Which i have a case on a strap for) and of course i will have a backpack. My question is how am i supposed to lug a backpack and a laptop case on a bike. I could see me with a backpack but where would i put the laptop case? Also, i am trying to spend under $200 for a bike but i cant seem to find any for that price. Where is a good place to find one for that price and what kind should i get? A hybrid? Thanks!
